A Healthy Home and Business through Improved IAQ

January is all about new and starting fresh. Many people make the resolution to improve their health and get fit, a notion that often leads to action items such as: hitting the gym, cutting out carbs, and taking the stairs (not bad things for sure). But what if there was something else...something often overlooked and forgotten that silently but stealthy zaps the energy and will-power right out of you? Something like poor indoor air quality (IAQ).

The quality of the air in your home and business greatly impacts energy levels and your ability to get things done. According to The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), "Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) can affect a person's health, comfort, and ability to work." We all know New Year resolutions take enough energy and determination already, and you don't need the very air you breathe to stand in the way of you achieving your goals.

This year AdvantaClean invites you to join us on a journey to create a healthy home and business. And because this month is all about resolutions, January is the perfect time to get started. So, start 2015 off with a bang!

Make the most of short winter days, set goals, and get plans in place to make your home and business the healthiest it can be. Keep reading to get tips on projects that keep you out of the cold and off of the couch.

January signifies the dead of winter for the majority of the country, and most of us find ourselves spending a significant amount of time indoors. The short daylight hours make it easier to succumb to cabin fever, baking away as a couch potato on the sofa, but remember, you resolved- NOT this year!

In the winter, air is drier and this can lead to sinus symptoms such as headaches and fatigue. With all that going on, how can you hammer out your goals? Get a humidifier and learn to use it right.
