AdvantaClean of Lawrence follows the IICRC standard method. An industrial-sized vacuum is hooked up to the air handler unit. Inter-connecting extension rods, with an agitation device at the end of them, are fed through each register and duct to loosen all particulate and blow it to the vacuum. Each register is cleaned accordingly. Once the registers are cleaned, the trunk lines are also accessed and cleaned in the same manner. The air handler is then vacuumed and cleaned. This method is very thorough and ensures that the ducting system is as clean as possible. As an added option, the ducting system can then be fogged with an All-Natural Enzymatic Mold Remover or with an anti-bacterial product to ensure all microscopic mold spores or bacteria are eliminated as well.
