Location: Lancaster, South Carolina 29720

Problem: The home was built with the absence of a moisture barrier in the crawlspace, allowing vapor pressure from the ground underneath to cause humidity issues.

Solution: We installed a basic moisture barrier across the ground and was vapor taped at all of the seams. This allows no ground vapor pressure from the ground to penetrate the crawlspace air. Along with this, the vents were sealed off and a commercial grade dehumidifier was installed in order to keep humidity levels at or below 60%, this makes an environment impossible for mold to grow.
