AdvantaClean of Suburban Milwaukee Receives Veterans Award New Berlin, WI: AdvantaClean of Suburban Milwaukee was awarded the American Legion Employer of Veterans Award in recognition of outstanding achievement in the employment of Veterans. Barry Hintz, owner of AdvantaClean of Suburban Milwaukee, accepted the award.
The American Legion Award was established in 1947 and recognizes businesses across the country that have established exceptional records in the employment and retention of Veterans and workers with disabilities. The competitive award is given annually to companies that have been in business for at least five years and whose workforce is comprised of at least 10% Veterans. Says Hintz, “We are honored to receive this recognition because it sets an example for employers to hire Veterans who have served their country and have a lot to give to local companies.”
AdvantaClean of Suburban Milwaukee was nominated for the award by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development’s Office of Veteran Employment Services to the American Legion. Hintz, himself a Veteran, works with this office frequently to hire Veterans who have barriers to employment. Says Hintz, “I know the dedication and hard work that comes naturally to Veterans. They bring value to my organization.”
Since 2010, AdvantaClean of Suburban Milwaukee has supported thousands of homes and business owners across Southeastern Wisconsin as the premier provider of essential services related to indoor air quality.
